Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You'll need to confirm your decision. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your posts, matches, and data within 30 days.

Verification is available to all users. Go to Settings > Verification and follow the selfie verification process. We'll compare your selfie to your profile photos to confirm your identity.

Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen to create a new post. You can add text (up to 300 characters), photos, videos, GIFs, and links. Posts are public by default.

Visit their profile and tap the "Follow" button. If their account is private, they'll need to approve your request before you can see their posts.

Tap the message icon in the top right to access DMs. You can message anyone who follows you, or anyone with open DMs enabled. Messages support text, photos, GIFs, and voice notes.

Communities are group spaces around shared interests. Join existing communities or create your own. Community posts appear in a dedicated feed separate from your main timeline.

Tap the three dots on any post to mute the user, mute specific words, or hide posts from certain topics. You can also mute notifications from specific accounts while still following them.

Go to the Dating tab and tap "Get Started." You'll need to be 18+ and complete a separate dating profile. Your dating profile is independent from your main Gatherly profile.

Swipe right to Like or left to Pass. When two people Like each other, it's a match! Only then can you start messaging. This keeps conversations wanted and consensual.

πŸ’œWhat's the difference between Dating and Friendship mode?

When you Like someone, you choose whether you're interested in dating or friendship. Matches are based on mutual interestβ€”if you both pick the same category, you'll match in that context.

πŸ’œHow do I unmatch someone?

Open your conversation with them, tap the three dots, and select "Unmatch." This removes the match and conversation from both sides. They won't be notified.

πŸ’œCan people from my social network see my dating profile?

By default, people you follow and followers won't appear in your dating stack. You can adjust these privacy settings in Dating > Settings > Privacy.

Go to Dating > Profile > Verify. Take a selfie mimicking the pose shown. We'll compare it to your photos to confirm you're the person in your pictures. Verified profiles get a badge.

Tap the three dots on their profile or content and select "Report." Choose the reason and add details. Reports are reviewed by our team within 24 hours for urgent issues.

Tap the three dots on their profile and select "Block." They won't be able to see your profile, posts, or message you. They won't be notified about the block.

Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. Depending on the violation, actions range from content removal to account suspension. We may contact you for additional information.

For immediate danger, contact local emergency services (911). For urgent platform safety issues, email safety@gagdsocial.com with "URGENT" in the subject. We monitor this 24/7.

Yes! Go to Settings > Privacy > Show Online Status and toggle it off. Other users won't see when you're active, but you also won't see their status.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Direct Messages to control who can reach you: everyone, followers only, or no one. Dating messages are separate and only work with matches.

Location is optional and used for local features like nearby communities and dating distance. We never share your precise location with other usersβ€”only approximate distances.

⭐How do I subscribe to Gatherly+?

Go to Settings > Gatherly+ and select your plan (monthly or annual). Payment is handled through your app store (Apple or Google). You can cancel anytime.

⭐How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your app store. On iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.

⭐Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Contact their support for refund requests. We cannot process refunds directly.
